Bio Caroline Shultz

Caroline Shultz

Caroline Shultz discovered her interest in Genealogy in late 1999, working in the Genealogy section of the El Paso Public Library. Her lifelong love of puzzles and research made her perfect for the job. Upon moving to South Korea in 2004, she continued her own research online and was able to begin guiding others in their search with the Girl Scouts, where she held an International Training position.

She knew she wanted to pursue Genealogy in a more professional capacity by this time, and took every opportunity to attend conferences and classes, leading to her Certificate of Genealogical Research from Boston University in 2017. Along the way she was able to solve the longtime family mystery of the identity of her own biological grandfather.

Caroline is currently 1st Vice President and webmaster of Heritage Seekers Genealogy Club.
