Barbara Cart
Barbara Cart, a native Arkansan, is a retired attorney and former criminal investigator who worked for the federal government in Washington, D.C. for 30 years. She currently lives in Jonesboro, AR, with her granddaughter and four rescued dogs. After her retirement, she became interested in genealogy and began tracing her family history, especially her mother’s line (Gann). She currently serves as Historian for the local chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution and is the President of the Gann Historical Society & Library, a national organization. A member of the AGS Board since 2019, she has revised the By-Laws and Policies & Procedures, and frequently assists in the editing of the Arkansas Family Historian.
